"COSI Solar Eclipse Celebration"

August 21st, Monday 12- 4 pm.  COSI is celebrating the Solar Eclipse city wide. This is the first time in 40 years that the total eclipse has taken place directly above North America and it’s a great chance to educate our community.  We need 40 volunteers to help us with easy science activities and to hand out glasses at 40 city wide sites at Columbus Metro Parks and Libraries.  Two Volunteers will team up with a COSI associate at an assigned site.  The activities are easy and geared toward children.  Everyone will get to see the Eclipse, weather permitting.  Refreshments will be offered during the event. We are working with our partners for reserved parking at all of the locations.   Volunteers will receive one COSI General Admission pass along with one Family Friday Night pass good through December 30, 2017.  Both passes allow up to 8 family/friends to enter COSI admission free.  The Family Friday Night pass is only good the last Friday of any month, but in addition to free admission, members would receive a free movie that night.  More details to follow.
