Want to attend televised live performances of the Metropolitan Opera? CEA-R is again forming a group to attend these broadcasts at the Marcus Cinema at Crosswoods and the Regal Cinema at Georgesville Square. We will enjoy lunch and social time prior to the following performances. The cost is $20.

With
beautiful songs, elegant choreography and silky smooth harmonies, these two
groups will send us back to a simpler time and bring back great memories.
The Four Preps
were formed in the early
50’s in Hollywood, California and placed thirteen songs in the U.S. charts
between 1956 and l964, two of which made the Top 5 in 1958. Their songs will
consist of “26 Miles (Santa Catalina)”, “Big Man” and “Graduation Day” among
many other hits.
The Chordettes will bring back a rich taste of The Big Band Era with such standards as “In the Mood”, Begin the Beguine”, “Stardust”, and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”, along with their hits: “Mr. Sandman”, “Lollipop”, “Never On Sunday” and “Eddie, My Love”. Daniel Boone’s second daughter, Lindy Boone Michaelis, performs with this group.
